W O R K S H O P:
CONNECTING WITH THE CONNECTOR
LET'S REFINE THE WAY WE CONNECT.
IT'S TIME FOR A CHANGE!
To say I am full of love, joy, and passion is an understatement. When I started this journey of changing my part of the world, I had no idea what I was thinking of. After this workshop and seeing so many beautiful faces-- it had me feeling all sorts of happy thoughts.
It was so wonderful to introduce the foundations of Refined By Suher with an intimate group of wedding professionals. We had a mixture of newer business owners, already established veterans in the industry, and everything in between. No matter where you are at in your business, you can ALWAYS be better, learn more, and continue growing!
We discussed the importance of finding out who you are and the concept of connecting with yourself before connecting with others. This can be done through creating a list of adjectives that describe you, honestly, and discovering how you see and feel about yourself. Most important is to BE HONEST! This will hurt, but just for a sec. Ok, maybe a week or so... but let me tell you, it’s so so worth it! You have to know who you are, accept yourself, and use your attributes to make connections and find your path to success!
We met at Vocabulary Boutique in Little Italy on Monday, October 15 at 6:00pm. The evening began with one hour of connecting with each other, getting to know each other, shopping around the boutique with a generous discount in mind, enjoying a glass of wine, and sampling from the charcuterie board. We also had delicious bite sized treats from Frost Me Gourmet.
To start the workshop we opened personal gifts wrapped beautifully and shared with the group our name, business, goals for the future, and what brought us here today. We were encouraged to continue on with ENERGY, spunk, personality, and GRATEFULNESS.
Other topics discussed were:
-The web of connection
-What Refined by Suher can offer you
-Creating action steps
-Understanding the industry
-Making the right connections
-Attending the best events
-Spending your time on the projects that will yield the highest rewards
-And so much more!
We ended the evening feeling more intimately connected and EXCITED to grow our businesses knowing that we have support through community over competition! The biggest theme of the evening was to network, networK, netwoRK, netwORK, netWORK, neTWORK, nETWORK, NETWORK, FUCKEN NETWORK!
